INSPIRATION

In 2005, Ryan Smolenski was diagnosed with Type 1, or insulin-dependent diabetes. Ryan is one of approximately 23 million Americans who lives with either Type 1 or Type 2 forms of diabetes.

Promising research is underway in laboratories across the country and around the world that could one day provide a permanent cure to this disease.

The 216 Foundation has committed its efforts to assist in the funding and support of these research efforts, and looks to people like Ryan for their inspiration in this effort.
